En tant qu'acteur, Jean a eu une carrière bien remplie. Quand le tournage de son dernier long métrage est interrompu pour un temps indéterminé, il en profite pour rendre visite à des anciens amis. Il se glisse dans la maison aujourd'hui inhabitée de Juliette, la femme qu'il a le plus aimée dans sa vie. Alors qu'il se replonge avec plus ou moins de nostalgie dans son passé, il fait la connaissance d'une bande d'enfants du quartier. Parce qu'ils sont très jeunes, ils ne connaissent pas la filmographie du vieil acteur. Tandis qu'ils le bombardent de questions, ils comptent bien utiliser la maison pour y tourner un film d'épouvante...

I have to admit that sometimes I'm curious about what the bad guys would do when they win, that only happens a few times, and those times have been interesting; The Dark Knight and Infinity War left a cliffhanger that left all of us at the edge of the seat waiting for a sequel, but here... maybe there will not be a heroe anytime soon... and that's something that I want to see"
